The Eyebrows write and perform anthemic rockers replete with chugging, sleaze-rock guitars, slashing riffs spiritually aligned with Alex Chilton, with vocals and harmonies that are tough but catchy, recalling 1970s power-pop powerhouse singer Robin Zander of Cheap Trick.
The Eyebrows combine 70s punk, power pop, and a touch of shoegaze atmosphere in a manic concoction that will give you Icarus-like super wings and other, subversive advanced skills to knock down walls, burn bridges… and eventually fall gracefully into the sea.

Lead Singer & Guitarist
Jay Garrigan is on an eternal odyssey to craft the quintessential tune for every flawed moment in existence. He revels in navigating the sonic cosmos surrounding the guitar.
Bassist
Darrin Gray wields the iconic EB-O 60's bass guitar, a Charlotte legend that's journeyed through the annals of notorious bands, only to find refuge in a friend's closet until Darrin emerged as its savior.
Drummist
Shawn Lynch draws inspiration from drumming legends such as Ringo and Moon. In homage to his heroes, he assembles his drum kit in a distinctive configuration, each piece carrying its own narrative in the rhythm of his unique tale.
Flip to the first DOUBLE TAKE side, crafted and blended by Mitch Easter (known for his work with REM and his band Let’s Active) at Fidelitorium studios. Brace yourself for a rocktastic experience!
Now, for the TAKE TWO side, Jay took cues from the live b-side cuts reminiscent of early REM, all at Mitch's suggestion.
Jay Garrigan took charge of recording and mixing side two in our very own practice space.
The finishing touch? Masterfully handled by Bill Skibbe at Third Man Mastering.
